Top 10 iPhone X troubleshoots

Apple's iPhone X has been out for a while now, and, as is to be expected with any new piece of technology, a few kinks need to be worked out. Here are the top 10 iPhone X troubleshoots that you may encounter:

1) The screen doesn't turn on:

It is a common problem with the iPhone X and is usually caused by a broken or damaged screen. If your screen isn't turning on, the best thing to do is take it to an Apple store or authorized service center and have them fix it.

2) The phone isn't charging correctly:

If your phone isn't charging properly, check the charging cable and ensure it's plugged in.

If that doesn't work, try using a different charger. If the problem persists, you may need to take your phone in for repair.

3) The phone is overheating:

If your phone is overheating, try turning it off and letting it cool down. If that doesn't work, you may need to take it in for repair.

4) The battery life is poor:

The battery life on the iPhone X could be better. If your battery is running low, try turning off Location Services and disabling background app refresh. If that doesn't work, you may need a new battery.

5) The touchscreen isn't working correctly:

If the touchscreen on your iPhone X isn't working correctly, try calibrating it by going to Settings > General > Accessibility > Touchscreen Calibration. You can also reset your device by holding the Power and Home buttons simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. If that doesn't work, take your phone in for repair.

6) Face ID isn't working correctly:

If Face ID isn't working correctly, ensure that you're not covering up either of the TrueDepth camera lenses with your fingers or anything else when trying to unlock your phone. You can also try calibrating Face ID by going to Settings > Face ID & Passcode > Reset Face ID. If that doesn't work, take your phone in for repair.

7) Apps aren't opening:

If apps aren't opening on your iPhone X, try restarting your device by holding the Power button until you see the slider. If that doesn't work, delete and reinstall the app(s). If none of those solutions work, take your phone in for repair.

8) The home button isn't working:

If the home button on your iPhone X isn't working correctly, you can reset your device by simultaneously holding down the Power and Home buttons until you see the Apple logo. If that doesn't work, take your phone in for repair.

9) The phone is getting hot:

If the phone is hot, try turning it off and letting it cool down. If that doesn't work, you may need to take it in for repair.

10) The camera isn't working:

If the camera on your iPhone X isn't working, try restarting your device by holding down the Power button until you see the slider. If that doesn't work, delete and reinstall the Camera app. If none of those solutions work, take your phone in for repair.

Apple is actively working on solving these issues and will likely release software updates.

In the meantime, try one of the above solutions if you're experiencing any problems with your iPhone X. If that doesn't work, take your phone in for repair.
