What is a refurbished device?
A refurbished device is a pre-owned equipment that has been restored to its factory settings.
Refurbished phones can be classified with grades A, B, and C or graded as "good" to "excellent" condition. Phones graded A (or excellent), have minimal signs of use and are like-new, but for a lot less than if you were to buy a new one.
Popsy devices undergo rigorous reconditioning and full functionality testing to meet the same standards as new products. Devices are like new, with savings of up to 70%.
The refurbishing process
All devices pass through a rigorous check, including battery, buttons, camera, and connection such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and screen. If required, parts are repaired or replaced.
Quality Check
Devices are rigorously checked and graded A to C, based on the product's cosmetics, how long it has been used and its original packaging.
Test & Repair
Everything is tested, if the touchscreen is working, home button, charging & headphones input. Any faulty parts at this stage are either repaired or replaced.
Any previous user data and its private content is deleted and device is reset to factory settings.
Repackaging
Devices are individually and manually checked if all processes have been done successfully. The product also gets cleaned and repackaged.
